Melody Locke Art

Although I own a couple of nice digital cameras, I have a passion for B&W film photography. I own three Nikon F100s, a Holga, and a Mamiya 640. I also own numerous lenses and filters. Much of my time has been spent shooting with infrared film.

In 2015, a torn ligament in my right wrist prevented me from being able to hold a camera and work in the darkroom; however, this downtime afforded me the opportunity to experiment with lumen printing. I've since embraced this form of alternative printing and have been experimenting with papers and chemistry.

Lumen prints have also become the source of fabric and needleweaving designs.
